iSpector HML 350 iSpector HML 350 is a breakthrough Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) platform delivering comprehensive inspection support for PCBs, including SMT and THT components, reflow and wave solder joints, solder paste and CIP (Components in Paste; pre-reflow).
Inspection is optimised by a 4 angle light source that uniquely combines On Axis Lighting and RGB layered LEDs (RGB/DOAL). The iSpector HML 350 employs a high speed, high quality 2 Mp camera in conjunction with industry-leading large CCD at a pixel size in excess of 4µm for superior contrast and low signal to noise ratio. Custom built, high resolution, low distortion telecentric optics are specially designed to complement the quality of the image sensor.
Enabling 3 dimensional meniscus profiling for even greater inspection accuracy, the system eliminates the problems caused by PCB warpage and resultant height variations. Accommodating board sizes up to 350mm x 250mm, iSpector HML 350 incorporates proven Marantz Synthetic Imaging technology to deliver the industry’s best defect balance ratio - simultaneously preventing escapes while maintaining a low false defects rate.
Programmable either through an extensive component library or a ‘Golden Board’, the unique system’s ultra-fast programming times are ideal for the challenges of high mix, quick turn manufacturing environments. What’s more, being uniquely upgradeable, this system allows you to add hardware so that AOI evolves alongside your business.
